Here are the pictures from the first class assignment – self portraits, or as we say today, selfies.
And here are four of Kayla’s images. She submitted a very interesting set of images with great variety
Below are a variety of images from the final exam for this class. I was really impressed with the quality and variety of imagery submitted. This has been a great class and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone’s imagery during the semester. Look and enjoy!!!
This week’s assignment was to shoot five images where the subject is color. There is a find distinction between a colorful image and an image where color is indeed the subject. Here are some initial images from this assignment, more will follow later in the week. I leave it up to you to decide if these images depict color as the subject.
That’s it for now, but do check back later in the week and I will add more as I continue to grade this assignment.
This week’s assignment was to shoot one subject in five different ways. Ideas could come from the assigned readings as well as considering options such as varying subject size, subject placement (composition), orientation (vertical vs. horizontal), lighting, and cropping. Since each assignment was a set of five images, I have selected two outstanding examples of this concept. Interestingly both use closeup techniques as an important component of their concepts. Enjoy.
First are images by Kelly . . .
Next, a set of images from Danielle . . .
What do you think? Why not leave a comment?
Welcome everyone to the fall semester of Jour 220 – Digital Photography, at WVUP. Here are some samples from the first photo assignment ‘Self-Portrait’. Take a look and see what you think.
That’s if for this week. Check back later for the next assignment.
Next assignment was to shoot five images of a favorite subject. before posting a variety of images from this assignment I would like to present five images from Cassidy that exemplify the ideal way to do this assignment. Look closely and you will see that she is featuring a medal in a variety of compositions, perspectives, and treatments. All the images are tied together by the common theme, yet show a variety of image presentation. Great job!!!
Nicely done!
